I gotta say first, is a sad story but … I’ve been struggling with health and weight problems since I was like 14, can’t remember the last time I something without feeling guilty.
Today I was having a great day, had a açai bowl with a friend, a healthy meal, everything I ate in the day apart from a single bowl of granola cereal, I thought -why not? I should try to buy some clothes- I feel good, I think I look pretty, I pick some clothes ready to go and try them on, Larges, Because I know I’m not a S/M anymore, that’s okay. But wait, what? Large doesn’t fit me, it’s extremely tight, I’m actually afraid I’m going to break it, so am I a XL now? And note I’m thinking this like if was thinking I am an assassin, with the upmost level of guilt and disgust and sadness.
Anyways my point is … I fit in Mediums, I was wearing one, I fit in Larges, but franchisees, brands they decided how sizes are going to be how small, how big, so you are ruling yourself for a dimension that’s is not true to itself, they want to make you feel fat so you go and try harder to fit into the worlds brand, their right way, you open your Instagram and it’s filled with models and Extra Smalls, you can’t never find your size in this cute clothes, because they are not “made for you” “for your body type” so you look at yourself at the mirror once again, you say no to that chocolate, say no to that slice of cake, cry yourself to sleep and get that subscribed to the gym because you are “too fat”.

LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING
NO YOU ARE NOT FAT
YES PLEASE EAT THAT ICE CREAM
GIRL YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL
YOU WOULD FIT BEAUTIFULLY IN THAT DRESS
SCREW THEM FOR NO HAVING YOUR SIZE
YOU DONT HAVE TO KILL YOURSELF AT THE GYM
YOU ARE LOVED
YOU ARE THE RIGHT WAY
ITS OKAY TO SMALL, LARGE, MEDIUM EXTRA LARGE
ITS OKAY TO BE JUST THE WAY YOU ARE
AND ITS OKAY TO BE DIFFERENT
