The spot makes me think about my childhood. We used to swim in a pond with salamanders in an occasional snake some turtles definitely leeches. I think about today’s kids and I wonder if they would even think about swimming in this. We did it because it was summer and it was hot and it was a huge treat to swim out to a raft that was on barrels and jumping off that we would do it for hours and hours and hours hoping we never had to go home. If we were lucky we stopped for ice cream usually at Loudoun Hill in Dallas. Kind of crazy because I haven’t thought about that in a long long time but being out here in nature brings back memories
