in town for the week with my family. i’ve been running in the morning with my brother. my other siblings would never wake up early for a run lol. but decided i needed some alone time. so we went our separate ways an i ended up here a decided to take a break. im afraid this will be one of (if not the) last vacation before children / partners start coming around. it’s weird to see your childhood coming to an end. makes me wish i went with my brother for the run. you never know when it’ll be the last one together. we also will find out pretty soon if my grandma has cancer. maybe i’ll try and bring her here one day. she’s a beautiful, kind and strong woman, her most recent trips were to new york in early 2020 (she was 77), and the beach the last few years. i think she’ll love it here. she would love all the colorful houses and how a lot of them have those porches on the side of the house. she’ll think it’s too hot so we’ll have to come in the spring or the fall.
