As the KCSB season is winding down, finals week is very quickly approaching, it can be so very easy for me to become overwhelmed with a multitude of emotions. My next semester on campus will be my junior year and it all feels so surreal that I only have four more semesters to complete before graduate school. While all of these emotions are swelling up, it can become almost natural to get stuck in your own head but just today I was pulled to the side by my german professor, Herr Györy, and the simplicity of him checking in on me because he’s noticed I’ve been ‘glum’ lately pulled me out of the nightmare in my head. Check in on your friends, especially during stressful times. I’m thankful to have staff members on campus that take notice of things in their students. I hope everyone does well on their finals and has a restful and fun summer!!!
