Virtual Journal Entry: Bittersweet
I’m a Vietnamese refugee who fled Vietnam September 1979 and lost my mom at sea. Somehow, I managed to achieve “the American dream.” 45 years later, on the memorable weekend of my mother’s death, I dropped my daughter off at Skidmore College and stumbled on this picturesque view of Saratoga Lake. Taking a moment to reflect and pay tribute the woman who made the ultimate sacrifice for her son.
