Virtual Journal Entry: Reconnecting
Growing up here, I had a hard time seeing the beauty. I just got back after 8 years away and this is the first time I’ve been to this park, the first time I’ve been to this bench. The view was breathtaking and the sounds of the life around me were comforting. Birds of all types sharing sentiments, the delighted sounds of little kids experiencing a slide for the first time over at the playground, gentle quiet of White River. The sun is setting and I think this is what it feels like to come back home.
