Virtual Journal Entry: The empty bench
I sit here and stare deep into the distance as far as I can see a bench empty across a fast grass lawn. everyone sitting on the bench journaling, I sit and stare at the empty bench across the lawn so lonely so unrecognized why him I ask why him he looks just like all of us all the other benches on the lawn yet he sit there so empty so bare but yet so pure sitting there under the shade of the tree under the night sky while the moon shines it is late way too late why am I still sitting here. just why? I don’t even go to this school. why am I here yet in the late hours of the night I write to you let’s sit on the other bench let’s take a stand let’s make a difference thank you comrades for your time and patience and peace upon the world for yet another stranger has Sat on another bench across the lawn.
