I came across what I call a violet and a dandelion. Both with very short stems. It reminded me of this past weekend we were visiting our granddaughters and one of them picked a dandelion really with no stem at all. I used to have a little tiny vase that was called a mommy pot. It was for short stemmed flowers that the kids would pick. I’ve got a look for it because I have a feeling I’ll be getting a lot of short stemmed flowers in the next few years. And so happy about that too. I think it’s interesting that the simple things means so much mostly when you’re very very young and then as you get old .
