You know it’s funny how so many people have sat at this bench or at least come down here on the bench walk and I’m kind of amazed at how few people write. I wonder if they are afraid. Do they think that it’s a vulnerable thing to put your feelings towards so that someone else could read them or even worse yet you read them back? Or is it just some people think that they wouldn’t know what they would say and maybe they don’t see value in their words. Or is it about time that if they actually sat and took some time to go inside and see how they feel they might be Late for whatever they’re supposed to do next. I was listening to a TikTok actually yesterday about a guy that was talking about time and what he said was to a man that had parents that were 70 years old and he said you know the average ages to live to be 78 hopefully your parents will live longer than that but if they don’t how often do you see your parents and he said well between one and three times a year and they live in different parts of the state of Washington. So he said so you don’t actually have eight more years with them if indeed you saw them One time each for the next eight years you would see them 16 times. That’s all. Kind of daunting when you look at it that way. We think we have time, that’s what the Buddha said. Use your days to the fullest❤️ Start the day asking how may I serve ?
